Abstract

Today's Businesses are experiencing the effects of the gone-digital-first era, where manual and process-heavy approvals make an organization less agile and competitive. Many industries that require applications to be submitted and approved before an outcome can take long periods due to antiquated processes reliant on paper forms and multiple in-person approvals. Technological advancements make these kinds of tasks more efficient, turning the previously analog processes into intuitive end-to-end online workflows. A high-level summary of a paper below will be provided, showing how traditionally offline paper-based applications with multiple in-person approvals that are data-dependent can be converted to entirely online workflows via Salesforce Sites and Salesforce Community Cloud. Through this interface, applicants can submit and complete their applications in the comfort of their homes; they are guided through eligibility criteria and other approval stages using automated checks and balances, greatly improving the applicant’s experience while saving time. As a bonus, data security measures built into Salesforce ensure that an applicant’s data is proprietary and only available to the appropriate eye.
