Abstract

Supply chain relationship management and observability are critical components of modern supply chain management. Effective supply chain relationship management involves building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient supply chain operations. Observability, on the other hand, refers to the ability to monitor and measure the performance of supply chain operations in real-time. This study examines the relationship between supply chain relationship management and observability, and investigates the impact of these factors on supply chain performance. The study uses a sample of 100 companies from various industries and employs a regression analysis to investigate the relationship between supply chain relationship management, observability, and supply chain performance. The results show that both supply chain relationship management and observability have a positive impact on supply chain performance. The study also finds that the relationship between supply chain relationship management and observability is moderated by the level of supply chain complexity, with the positive effect being more pronounced in more complex supply chains. The findings of this study have important implications for companies seeking to improve their supply chain performance and suggest that investing in supply chain relationship management and observability can be an effective way to achieve this goal.
