Abstract

Border Area Development Programme (BADP) was introduced in the year 1986-87. However, as far as concern to Arunachal Pradesh, the Border Area Development Programme (BADP) was introduced during the year 1997-98 with a provision of Rs 4.00 crores and implemented to 33 schemes. This study made an attempt to investigate the overview infrastructure development under BADP in Arunachal Pradesh. Further, the purpose of the study is to investigate the people perceptions on assets created under BADP. The study is descriptive and analytical in nature. For the present study, Stratified Random Sampling under Probability Sampling Techniques was used. 340 samples were randomly taken from study areas.
