Abstract

Information Insight is very important for agriculturists in the perspective of Information and Communication Technology (ICT). Information Insight is the main factor related to the Perception of farmers regarding the role of ICT in the agriculture sector. Different types of information are needed by the agriculturist for production, marketing and other related fields. Without sufficient and complete information farmers are not making the proper and correct decisions related to agricultural activities. From the start to end means from the cultivation to the sale of agricultural products information are received through various mode of Information and Communication Technology tools. Agriculture is very important for every country without agriculture they are dependent on others, so it’s very important to every country that they develop various Information and Communication Technology related Tools. Each country helps the farmers through different modes of schemes (like, Kisan Call Centre service, DD Kishan, Krishi Darshan, Krishi Jagran, Kheti Ri Bata, etc.) for Information and to enhance the awareness of farmers. The researcher selected a sample size of 180 farmers from the NCR area. ANOVA and T-test were used to find the result of the study. Various variables like Location, Education Profile, Age and Types of Family details are taken for this study. The study is based on a structured questionnaire to find out the objectives of the study.
