Abstract

An organic food product in India has been growing at a rapid pace. Lifestyle of todays consumers are in changing arena, health awareness, increasing disposable income and increasing number of retail outlets across the country are the major growth instigator for the organic food segment. Hence, it is prime thing to study on consumers’ perception towards organic food products. Exploratory Research Design was adopted and the data needed for the study was collected from primary source using structured questionnaire. A sample of 146 respondents were taken and the collected data was analysed using Likert’s Five point scaling technique, Statistics, Simple Percentage analysis, Factor Analysis, Chi square analysis, were used to interpret the collected data and conclusion was drawn out.
